How to Vote

Info on Taking Part in the Strike Mandate Vote

It’s Time to Vote – and Support Your Team!

On February 10th, nearly 300 Unit 1 members voted in favour of sending a Strike Mandate Vote to the entire membership. You can learn more about the Strike Mandate Process here (well, you can actually click anywhere in this area to learn more!)

Your Bargaining Team needs leverage to make gains on fair hiring, paid sick days, trauma-informed mental health supports, and real overwork protections. Your “Yes” vote will give them that leverage.

When, Where, How You Can Vote

You can vote now until Wednesday, February 17th at 17:00 (EST).

You can vote online through Simply Voting.

You should have received an email from CUPE Local 3902, vote@simplyvoting.com (Subject Line: “2021 Unit 1 Strike Mandate Vote”), last night to the email associated with your 3902 Member Profile. This email contains the link, your voter ID, and instructions on how to vote.

If you don’t see the email in your inbox, check your Clutter, Other, Junk Mail, and other annoying places in your email.

If you still haven’t received an email, please contact Tzazná Miranda Leal, our Staff Organizer, at organizer@cupe3902.org or 416-572-0180, with any questions or concerns.
